Bathroom Designs That Go the Extra Mile Regarding Style

July 13, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

bathware-featured.jpg

After the bedroom, which I like to think is the holy space in the house where outsiders are rarely welcomed, my second favourite place is the bathroom. When it comes to relaxation techniques, spas and all the similar activities designed to make your mind and body turn off and rejuvenate completely, I have to say that I am not fond of visiting specialized facilities for the purpose. I don’t like sharing a space so special and of high meaning and importance with someone else. Instead, I decided to make my bathroom a spa of its own. With a little investment in some basic fancy stuff, I turned my bathroom into a real relaxing oasis. The best part: I did everything on my own starting by searching for bathroom products online.

Thanks to the rough battle for loyal customers, large manufacturers today have an online exhibit of their products and an opportunity for you to choose whatever you need and have it delivered to your door. I can’t even begin to explain how much that means to a person like me – constantly changing my mind, spending immense time on choosing and combining styles and colour on spot, and doing the math during all of it. Yes, choosing my bathroom products online played a huge part in making everything easier for this project of mine. While on the task to design a bathroom that will look like a small spa and emit luxury and style, I stumbled across a few great ideas featuring some really interesting elements.

For larger bathroom spaces – a freestanding bath

A freestanding bath is a great choice if you’re willing to create a luxurious bathroom with the bath in the focus point. These vary in shape and size, which means you can choose the one that most suits your needs and desires. Do you want a comfortable bath support so you can lay in water for hours? Or you want something more spacious so it’s also practical along with being eye-appealing and useful? Whatever the need, make sure the bath is white in colour; white colour symbolizes purity and calmness, so it’s most preferable for bathrooms. The freestanding bath would complement a fancy bathroom with a lot of marble in it, simplicity in the overall layout and most importantly – zero bathroom clutter. After all, we’re aiming for luxury here. Also, consider combining the bathroom basin by colour and material with the bath – it will contribute to the overall design scheme.

bathware-2

Fancy tapware

The tapware is also important here. It’s kind of an attention-catcher when you first enter the bathroom due to its shiny silver colour. Whether you go for a basin mixer or a bath mixer for your freestanding bath, a shower set or wall top assembles, the only thing you should pay attention to is that there are no plastic details included. Plastic has nothing to do with luxury and if you’re aiming towards that goal, you should avoid it by all cost.

bathware-3

And finally, the toilet

Same goes here – no plastic details! It’s an eye-sore in a bathroom with ceramics, marble floors, fancy mirrors and glass doors. Choose a small yet convenient toilet made of strong materials in a white colour. Again, the toilet is not the piece to play a colour game with. Your task should be to incorporate it perfectly in the overall ambiance, or to create a whole. That means your basic pieces should all be complied in material and colour in the first place.

Introduce a Hint of Retro Charm into Your Home

July 11, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

Retro-wallpaper.jpg

The audience that prefers the retro style of interior design is rather small. Not a lot of people can bare the sight of old, kind of worn and vintage pieces in their homes. Most of us like to enjoy modern furniture, even more modern decorations and ambiance creators. However, there are some aspects of interior design that would easily exhibit all their beauty if a dose of retro charm was added to them. Like the walls and the carpets for instance.

Retro Charm Wallpaper

A dose of retro charm isn’t just a decorative option you’d go for to refresh your rooms’ look and appearance. It’s something you’d do to bring in your home the warmth and cosiness you used to have when you lived in your mother’s house or that same feeling you have when you visit your grandma’ s house. Start easy; remember the colourful walls your mum had in her kitchen? Yes, those were wallpapers, and yes, you can get them today as well. There’s a vast offer of retro wallpapers for walls which you can search through and choose something that will fit your existing design pattern. Also, there are a number of choices of carpets and rugs which can also give that retro look and feeling in your rooms.

A splash of vintage-y colours and patterns

It’s somehow considered to be an old practise and instantly reminds of something that will unwillingly catch the attention of anyone entering the room looking away from the modern pieces. Retro wallpapers for walls don’t have to be that notoriously bold coloured patterns, but they can be ones that add a urban feel if chosen correctly. In addition to your furniture, which in this case is modern and fancy, choose a wallpaper that will be calming and colourful at the same time. However, avoid the extremely strong colours since you don’t want to suffocate your room.

Additional furniture pieces

Pieces like side tables, cabinets and chandeliers in different shapes and sizes can also contribute to the retro look of your home. Think wood, a lot of brown elements like sideboards, swinging chairs and cabinets that look like they belonged to your grandmother’s old living room. You can also get a little loose with the colours; orange pieces like old chairs or maybe some orange-y colour pattern would be a great addition to a retro-inspired living room.

Pillows, blankets and rugs

There’s nothing more convenient for design manipulation like pillows, blankets and rugs. These are easy to change in colour and material, and are a very good element which can provide direction to your room design. In the case of retro style, you can go with pastels and flowers, which will complement perfectly the overall ambiance.

All in all, if you don’t really like that burst of past covering the entire room, you don’t have to go for such a design scheme. You can pick a few retro elements and install them correctly in the room. That way you’ll have the warmth and closeness they provide while conserving your perfect modern interior.

Power Up with Motorized Roller Blinds and Make Managing Natural Light Easy

June 30, 2016 — by Richard Dawson

Motorized-Roller-Blinds1.jpg

In recent years, slowly but surely, blinds have started to replace curtains. Blinds are cost effective, durable and practical. There are many styles and materials to chose from, which makes blinds very versatile. They can be mounted both inside and outside a frame, which adds to their versatility. In this article, I’m going to discuss one type of blinds in particular, roller blinds.Motorized Roller Blinds

Roller blinds are made from a type of fabric specially designed to be operated by beaded side controls or a spring mechanism. They can be custom made which means, every single blind is made individually and it is not mass produced to fit the needs of all customers. Additions can be made to prevent a choking hazard in kids and animals by making them cordless. When it comes to convenience and practicality, motorized roller blinds are the future. With a single remote control, you can control all your blinds and set their limits individually to get the perfect amount of sunlight inside your home.

To make sure you order the perfect blinds for your windows, you need to properly measure them. There are different approaches to measuring blinds, but they’re generally very similar. You measure at three spots: top, bottom and middle from window frame, as well as right side, left site and middle and you pick out the smallest measurements. This is for inside mounted blinds. For outside mounted blinds you need to add about 50 mm extra to the sides for an improved light control and privacy.

Some tips for measuring blinds correctly:

  • Always measure in millimeters (mm);
  • Measure all windows separately, even those of similar width and height;
  • Always use a steel tape for improved accuracy – ensure the tape measure is straight and tight while measuring;
  • Do not deduct;
  • Stacking height of the blind is something that should not be forgotten.

The conclusion to all of the aforementioned is that blinds are slowly but surely replacing curtains. Motorized roller blinds add convenience and ease to adjust the blinds in your entire house with the push of a single button. They’re also quite safe, meaning, there are no strings or cables that get entangled. Plus, they prevent heat from going out during the winter and keep coolness inside during hot summer days, which is beneficial for energy savings. Making your blinds move on a scheduled time will increase safety against burglars, meaning even if you are not at home, your blinds will occasionally move to scare burglars off thinking that you’re actually home.

June 29, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

home-lighting-design-1.jpg

Any aspect of decorating your home is important. From the style of the furniture to the smallest pieces of décor. In all this arrangement, lighting takes a very important role. The type and design of lighting can either make or break the entire atmosphere in your living area, so you need to put more effort in the selection of it. The right type of home lighting design should be both efficient and effective. Efficient, so you can use the least amount of energy but still get the effect you want and effective so it can crate a certain mood, provide security or illumination fro a specific task.

home lighting design

Consider the natural light

Before you dive into the wide range of home lighting design options available, consider the type and amount of natural light that reaches the room. Main living areas, including the kitchen, should be face south-facing so that natural can keep the space bright and warm during the larger part of the day.

Make a plan

A good lighting plan should take into account any aspect of the room. A well-designed lighting plan will have a huge impact on the finished look of the room. You can start your lighting scheme with the following simple questions:

  • What will this space be used for?
  • Will there be furniture pieces, artwork, and architectural features?
  • Who will be using the room?
  • At what period of the day will it be used the most?
  • From what direction does natural light enter?

Once you answer these questions, you can start making the plan. Consider the placement of the light fixtures, light switches and the major furniture items. When you are done with the plan, you can start looking for the right home lighting design that will complement your home interior.

Living room

Without any doubt, this is the most frequently used room in the home. When it comes to lighting, more and more people today are choosing to provide light for this room through a combination of table or floor lamp along with downlights. Chandeliers are also a preferred choice since for many people, the living room wouldn’t feel complete without one.

Bedroom

You really shouldn’t bother too much with the lighting of this room in the since two table lamps placed on each side of the bed are enough to do the job. Installing light switches on the either side of the bed is also a good idea since this will give you the ability to control your light without the need of standing out of bed.

Bathroom

Bathrooms allow a lot of creativity when it comes to lighting. Small or big, there are always those things you can accent, and include various options so that you can change the ammosphere as you desire. If you want to add some background lighting consider recessed downlights or you can use a light above the mirror.

Kid Bedroom Wallpaper 101: Choosing the Right Style for Boy’s Room

June 21, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

Kid-Bedroom-Wallpaper-1.jpg

If you’ve never decorated your home but want to give it a try, you are on the right place! Decorating can be extremely fun, especially if you’re decorating your kid’s room. The most enjoyable and fun part of this experience is your child’s involvement in the process. You get to spend quality, fun time together while constructing his personal heaven. The bedroom is not often exposed to guests, and when it is, it’s probably your child’s peers, for that reason you have to make sure you create an interior design he is fond of.

Kid Bedroom Wallpaper

In this article we’re going to talk about decorating a boy’s room specifically. For starters, team up with your kid, visit a kid bedroom wallpaper shop, and let the adventures begin! There are two points of view when looking for wallpapers: yours and your boy’s. The most important thing you should pay special attention to is the quality of the pieces you want to buy as you want them to be functional and stay in a good shape for many years to come. Furthermore, pay attention to the material the wallpaper is made from – there are a few types you will come across in your hunt: vinyl, flocked, grasscloth.

Vinyl is the most commonly used one and as far as diversity goes, there are multiple types of vinyl to choose from: solid vinyl, coated, paper backed and fabric baked vinyl. Each has it’s own qualities and is better than the other in certain applications. Vinyl is easy to clean, completely safe for indoor applications and there is a huge variety of textures and colours to choose from.

The next thing to consider when choosing the right kid bedroom wallpaper are the personal preferences of your boy. If you are not familiar with his interests yet, talk to him about what he is into most. Who are his super heroes? What’s his favoruite sport? Is he into cars? Does he like dinosaurs? Favorite animals? – These are some of the many questions you can ask him so that you narrow down the options when making the final decision. Remember, doing this together is essential. Start off by suggesting things that you like first but make sure to always ask for his opinion – it’s his room, so his opinion is worth gold. You want him to be satisfied with what he gets. Don’t be afraid to be a little adventurous! Nowadays, the choice of patterns, themes, and colors is infinite, so it shouldn’t be that hard to create the room of his dreams. Leave all the stress behind and don’t forget to have fun while decorating with your little one.

Industrial Furniture style gives modern homes a sophisticated edge

May 23, 2016 — by Richard Dawson

Industrial-Style.jpg

Industrial style is something that has been around for a very long time and has started making a huge comeback in recent years. It is a great design that can be incorporated into any style home including contemporary, tradition and vintage. The raw, utilitarian style is not for those of you who want a piece of furniture that will blend into the background though. But if done right, it gives a sophisticated edge. The key to really blending industrial style into your home is by picking a few key pieces.

Industrial Furniture

From lighting and edgy art and with few functional furniture pieces, you can easily make the warehouse look work for you too. Smart strategy would be not to go all metal. A little can go a long way. You can buy industrial furniture pieces (few functional pieces is more than enough) and mix with the ones you already own. Luckily, there are many places where you can buy industrial furniture. From minimal to heavy metal, you can embrace and express the rawness.

Lighting

This is probably the easiest place to start and it also won’t cost you a whole lot of money. Industrial style lighting is actually quite simple in design but it still leaves a strong impression. There are so many great options out there, so try looking for something with adjustable arms, pendants and metal lamps.

Coffee Tables

Coffee TableThis is another way to bring industrial style to the centre of the room bringing the focus with it. There are so many different styles of industrial coffee tables that you really can find great ones that will match the furniture you already have. Try sticking to something that is made from wood, metal or has wheels. These are all key features when it comes to industrial coffee tables.

Chairs & Stools

Go for something that you would most likely find in a science lab that has that real industrial edge. However, there is a huge variety of industrial influenced designs. You can add the chairs around the dining table or you can add stools to your breakfast bar or counter in the kitchen to really make a statement.

Dining Table

This is probably one of the easiest pieces you will find that come in industrial styles. Simply because they seem to be easier for manufacturers to make as you can mostly find them with a wooden top and iron legs. This is a great style for your dining room and you can pair it with any kind of chair you like.

Cabinet

If you are looking to bring industrial style to other parts of your house you can easily invest in a set of cabinets or drawers. There are so many different styles to choose from and so many different designs you are sure to find something you love. You can easily add some cabinets to your bedroom or even use it as a table in the foyer.

BenchIndustrial Bench

An industrial bench is a great way to bring the style from inside your house to the outside. A wooden and cast iron bench is a great addition to the yard; it looks stylish and is very functional. Adding a bench to your yard is a great way to create a space for you to relax in.

If you are not sure where to find industrial furniture a great way to start is to search online. Online stores have the biggest variety and you can easily buy industrial furniture all from the comfort of your home.

Types of Photo Frames That Make Your House Feel More Like Home

May 19, 2016 — by Richard Dawson

Types-of-Photo-Frames-thumb.jpg

Types of Photo Frames

Out of all the items used for interior decorating, there are a few that can add a personal feel to your home as much as a photo. Whether it is a wedding photo, a family vacation photo, a selfie from your backpacking through Asia, or a dear piece of art from your children or straight from your photographic portfolio, your college diploma or a business license, what a better way to display all of them than in a photo frame.

Frames were originally created to protect and showcase paintings, but as photo cameras were invented and started becoming part of our everyday life, frames were redesigned specifically to display photographs instead of paintings. The most notable difference between photo frames and art frames is that photo frames usually have a layer of glass or acrylic that protects the picture underneath from anything that might cause damage such as scratches or spills.

Today photo frames come in all shapes and sizes and with the many different designs out there you will find one that fits your home decor. Along with the variety of sizes and designs, frames can be made from different materials such as timber, metal, acrylic, and if you want to go high-tech all the way, you can even get a digital photo frame which can display more than one photo in a sequence.

Besides being a great way of displaying art – metal, acrylic, and timber photo frames are themselves an art form. They are a very versatile piece of decor. You can place them in the living room, the bedroom, in the hallways. Eell, just about anywhere in the house as ornaments on side tables, shelves, chest of drawers, windowsills, or you can hang them on the wall and arrange them in any number and any way you find aesthetically pleasing.

All the different frame materials have different features, also the material plays a big role in determining how much the frame costs.

Metal frames obviously are the most durable. They can be manufactured in many different styles and with different finishes such as bronze, pewter, brass, chrome, sterling, aged metal and so on. You will surely find one that will perfectly fit your home.

Timber photo frames are my personal favourite. They can be made from just about any type of wood available, but what I like the best about them is that they can be easily engraved, stained, painted or adorned in different ways to suit all the individual tastes. Even if you use the raw textures of the natural material you will still get a very aesthetically pleasing look.

Plastic frames usually have a simple design, but they are light-weight which makes them suitable for being hung in areas that can’t support too much weight.

Step-by-Step Guide to Whimsey Wallpaper Designs For Kids

May 18, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

kids-wallpapers-design.jpg

The room is a very special ingredient of childhood. It is the place where all the magic happens as it can be turned into a fortress, a restaurant, a hospital or a school and is crucial for a child’s well-being and proper development. What seems like play is more than fun and games because this is when learning happens. Since this is the place where your child will first get to know more about the surroundings, it is more than important to create a positive atmosphere.

Wallpaper Designs For Kids

Same as with any decorating and styling, this is another chance for you to get creative. While the first thing on your mind for furnishing the kids’ room will be choosing the adequate bed, table, chairs and wardrobe, you would be surprised to know how much of an impact walls have on the overall décor.

Along with setting the tone of the space, be it warm with choosing bright colours or more intimate with dark shades, the addition of a wallpaper can even have visual effects on the walls. In the case of narrow walls, hanging wallpapers with stripes can create visual elongation so the walls might seem taller and wider.

Retro Wallpaper Designs For Kids

When it comes to choosing the right wallpaper for a kids’ room, since your kids spend most of their time in their corner, their opinion and ideas matter just as much as yours. Babies do not have much say in the decorating process, but once they are old enough to watch cartoons and pick favourite heroes and princesses, they should be involved in the styling. Since there are many varieties of wallpaper designs for kids you will come across, here are ideas that could be your guiding steps to help you find the ideal wallpapers for your kids’ room.

Colour Power

If you are not much into experimenting with patterns and are new to the wallpaper experience, you could go for a simple choice. In case you wonder how it would all turn out, you could first try having a wallpaper hanged on one wall instead of using it up for all surfaces. With the stereotypical pink and blue out of the trendy path, there are plenty of other colours you can choose from. Neutrals are getting more popularity over the years, and they are perfect for setting a soothing tone so you cannot go wrong by picking them. Along with this, they are also very easy to match your furniture with.

A Matter of Patterns

For the more creative personalities, any kind of pattern will do. The world of wallpaper designs for kids is so extensive that there is little left to the imagination. You will find from flowers, animals, shapes to numerical and alphabet patterns and this is where you might need some help from your kid on deciding which one to pick. When you pick a wallpaper such as What a Hoot Little Letters not only will it give the room a vibrant flavour, but your kids also have the chance to have fun learning the alphabet.

Dream Theme

When you want to give your kids the enchanting world of their dreams, your best bet will be themed wallpapers. Bonus points if you already know their favourite cartoon characters. No one can resist the charms of all the Disney stories so you will easily find Disney inspired wallpaper themes for your walls. The great thing about wallpapers nowadays is most of them are made from convenient washable materials, so you need not worry about having to waste endless amounts of money on wallpaper changes every time your kid’s drawing appears on the wall.

3 Steps to a Succesful Herbal Endeavor #1 Garden Planter Pots

May 17, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

lloyd-the-farmers33.jpg

It would be really nice to have a kitchen that’s connected with the backyard providing you a very easy access to your small herbal garden spot. I really envy those people that do have that luxury, since I live in an apartment on the high floors of a very tall building in Melbourne and all I can rely on is a balcony with a design pattern that simply doesn’t support a small garden instalment. And since I love cooking and love even more experimenting with cocktails, drinks and desserts, I often have to drive to the herbal market just to get the herbs I need. That’s OK, I can live with driving a few times a week just for that, but the fact that I need fresh herbs every day is just unbearable. So, I had to think of a way to get a small herbal garden spot in my kitchen.

lloyd-the-farmers

All that small project of mine would’ve been impossible if I had to choose some of those old planters which are small, have a very weak round construction and were used by our grannies for planting flowers in them, which means mainly for decorative purposes. You can’t make a small herbal garden in such a small space. Having that in mind, I started searching for garden planter pots that will be of a suitable design suitable for an in-home use. And how lucky I was.

The planters

I found the cutest garden planter pots on the market; they’re large enough to hold more herbs and quite stylish: sleek lines, modern legs and fancy colours. Aside the appealing design, these planters come with the most convenient feature for busy women such as myself: they have a self-watering mechanism! To be honest, I was kind of sceptic about me taking care of plants with all my busy daily schedule. So you can only imagine my thrill when I learned about this feature. It’s actually a very innovative process: the planter has a water reservoir underneath the soil pot connected with it through a capillary web that transfers water. There’s also a mechanism that shows you just how much water is left and when you need to refill it. And that’s all. Ah, so lovely! I got about three of these planters and two smaller ones.

lloyd-the-farmers2

The choice of herbs and how to plant them

You can plant just about any herb you’d like in your garden planter pots as long as the conditions they’re going to grow in suit them. I mainly use 4 types of herbs that I need to have fresh all the time, so I decided to plant a quantity of them.

  • Basil – I love the aroma basil gives to soups and the morning smoothies I make with ice, lemon and water. Besides for cooking, I use basil for home-made face masks for anti-ageing treatments. It’s widely known that basil has a number of health benefits, and one of them is preventing wrinkles. Basil is best planted from seeds or from nursery seedlings, so if you want it already grown, visit a plant nursery.
  • Sage – a cup of sage tea in days with severe cold is a God’s blessing. But sage from a tea bag and fresh sage is definitely not the same thing. Plus, sage makes a wonderful decorative plant, so when it grows enough with it’s greyish leaves, you’d have a very fancy plant corner in your kitchen. To plant it you need seeds or as in the case of basil, you can use seedlings.
  • Mint – I think anyone who claims to be a cocktail master should have a planter with fresh mint in their home. A mojito without mint leaves simply doesn’t taste right. Besides famous cocktails, mint is often used for salad dressings, for desserts and other drinks. It’s so versatile in its use it would be a shame not to have it in the kitchen. It can be also planted from seedlings, and the important thing here is to give it full sunlight and regular water, which luckily is settled with my new planters.
  • Lavander – divine smell and huge ornamental value since its colour is just gorgeous. I want to have a whole planter with lavander so when it blooms that colour would easily become a focal point in my kitchen. It will so go along with the overall design. It’s fairly easy to plant it and maintain it in both planters and directly in the ground.

Once I got all the main elements for my kitchen herbal garden, I only needed to get the right soil type, the fertilizers and actually do the dirty work. All that turned out perfectly well, and now I have a perfect small herbal garden in the comfort of my kitchen – right where I need it.

Blinds: 3 Best Design Solutions For Large Windows

May 4, 2016 — by Richard Dawson

panel_blinds.jpg

Years ago blinds were reserved for offices and curtains for homes. But times have changed and today it is quite normal to cover all of your home windows with blinds. There are a lot of reasons why people are more and more starting to choose blinds over curtains; blinds give you the ability to have a full control over the level of light in the room. This means you can adjust your blinds so that the light enters the room without you being affected by the glare of sunny rays. The second reason is the sophisticated look they give to the room. Blinds can be found in various materials, finishes and styles to suit every room giving it an up-to-date look. They are easy to clean, easy to use and quite durable. So, is there any reason not to choose blinds for your home? I don’t think so.panel blindsIf you think that finding the ideal blinds for your large windows is a mission impossible, you are very much mistaken. There are blinds suitable for all window sizes and shapes – all you need to do is measure the area you want to cover, choose your preferred style and make the purchase. Every type has its own unique beauty, but if you are looking for something that will be most suitable for your large sized windows, take a look at the following design solutions.

Panels

Panel blinds offer a more solid window coverage when compared to other types of blinds. They are the perfect choice for larger and longer-length windows giving the room a very stylish look while offering a high level of privacy. As their name suggests, panel blinds feature panels that are fixed on a track on which panels stack behind each other every time you open the blind. They are made from different materials but the most common ones are panels made of bamboo or wood. As their width and length varies, you can purchase panel blinds that will suit your individual needs, taking into account your personal requirements for privacy and light.

Shutters

If you live in a beach area where the climate is warm, maybe shutters are the best choice for you. They have been used for decades but they are still considered a very popular option of window covering, not just for homes but for business offices as well. They offer a high level of flexibility allowing the light and air to enter the room while maintaining a sense of security and privacy. Shutters will make your living area cooler as they provide a significant amount of shade. They are both functional and stylish at the same time and the wide array of materials they come in makes them suitable for any home décor. The most common type are shutters made of wood but those made of poly are also a popular choice nowadays. They offer the beauty of wood, are very easy to clean and durable. Other commonly used materials are MDF and vinyl.

Sheers

These are the type of blinds that delicately and softly diffuse the light during the day while still offering some level of privacy. They provide a beautiful window frame without blocking the light which makes them a great choice for rooms where you want the natural light to flow freely. Coming in different materials, colours and designs, sheers fit in great in different décors. Every room in your home has a different purpose, so when you are looking for sheers make sure you choose ones that will fit the style and design of a given room.

Choosing Garden Gloves: Steps to Consider

April 26, 2016 — by Valeriya Vimon

garden-gloves-01-.jpg

Quality gloves are one of the most important accessories when it comes to gardening gear. Your hands can easily get damaged from working with soil and different gardening tools like shovels or rakes. Also, sun exposure can also take its toll on the hands skin of gardeners, leaving it dry and full of spots. But that’s not even close to a reason to stop with your beloved fun activity – garden gloves were designed specially for this matter – to protect your hands and make gardening easier and much more enjoyable.

types-of-garden-gloves

Comfort and high-quality materials are just some of the features you should look for in a quality pair of garden gloves. They should also provide you with a good grip and be the right size for your hands. Loose gloves will easily slide up and down preventing you to work normally with the gardening tools and will not provide good protection from dirt, stones and other outer influences. Small gloves on the other hand, will cause blisters and make any hand movement difficult. That is why it is very important to choose garden gloves that will fit your hands perfectly.
